Russian River Valley · Forestville, California
Russian River Valley fruit, thoughtfully grown.
Family-owned vineyard land in Forestville, growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for winemakers who value site, stewardship, and direct relationships.
The place
Two vineyards across River Road. One family looking after what comes next.
Together, the properties span roughly one hundred acres in the Russian River Valley. Some of the vines were here long before us. Our job is to understand them, care for the land around them, and build relationships worthy of what this place can produce.

For winemakers
A site worth a conversation.

04
The vineyard packet
Block maps, planting information, varietal details and current availability are shared directly with qualified trade contacts.

The fog comes in off the coast and leaves slowly. The season here is long, and it rewards patience.

The family
Farming, ranching, horses — and now wine.
The 2 Bar name comes from that history. Today we carry it forward in Forestville, where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay have become the newest crop in a much older relationship with land.
We are not trying to manufacture a wine-country origin story. Ours began somewhere else. That is precisely what makes this chapter interesting.
Field notes
What grows from here

Wine
The family Chardonnay
What began with a small Chardonnay block across River Road became our first hands-on introduction to growing, crushing and bottling our own wine.

Season
Following the fog
The Russian River Valley changes by the hour and by the season. Fog, sun, harvest and dormancy set the rhythm here.

Story
Before there was wine
Stock farms, horses, branded cattle and the Two-Bar ranching story came first. Sonoma is where those older family threads meet a new crop.
